March 19, 2008: An Evening to Dream. Soo Theatre Project hosted many guests as it celebrated paying off the loan from Old Mission Bank that made saving the historic downtown theatre possible and simultaneously unveiled ambitious plans for the future. In addition to the ceremonial shredding of the now-paid-in-full loan contract, the celebration included performances by STARS music and dance students, a presentation in the unheated Soo Theatre auditorium (not shown), a tour of the future second-floor music and dance studios (currently under
