Would you believe me if I told you there were wildebeest and an elephant at the Soo Theatre last week? Lions? Brightly colored birds? The Soo Theatre Youth Theatre cast has been chosen and they are well into rehearsals for their spring production of Lion King Jr. The Lion King Jr. will be performed April 19-22, 2018 on the historic Soo Theatre stage.
The Cast list of Lion King Jr. are comprised of Eastern Upper Peninsula and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario locals. Lead roles will be performed by the following youth:

The LIONESSES will be performed by Lauren Anderson, Ariana Atkinson, Carrie Gregg, Emma Mansfield, Lilian McKee, Alyssa Morley, Rorie Nelson, Miriam Sanders, and Jade Wigman-Nilsson.
The HYENAS will be performed by Anna Collins, Kamryn Corbiere, Lane Cozort, Clara Gregg, Daniel Jenkins, John Kowalski, Olivia Martin, Ella McKerchie, Tessa Miller, Savannah Quinlan, Kenzie Waldrop-Gordon, and Quinn Woolever.
The PRIDELANDS CHORUS will include Danielle Forsythe, Fairyn Novak, Abigail Pruitt, Emily Pruitt, Haley Pruitt, Taylor Ogston, Caitlyn Stevens, Mallory Vert, and Evelyn Weber.
WILDEBEESTS will be performed by Ella Austin-Smith, Ellah Deeghan, Jada Frost, Isadora Johnson, Michaela Lynn, Asher Quinlan, Austin Simon, and Allison Smith.
