The Accidentals (August 24)

With a blend of Indie, Folk, and Rock, Katie Larson, and Savannah Buist, and Michael Dause formed The Accidentals. Originating in Traverse City, Katie and Savannah met at their public high school where Katie was a cello player and Savannah a violinist. Before graduating high school, The Accidentals recorded 3 original albums, appeared as guest artist on 15 other albums, scored 2 films, and had songs featured in commercials, documentaries, all while playing several hundred live shows. After graduation from Interlochen Arts Academy, the duo picked up singer/songwriter, Michael Dause, as their touring/studio drummer. Their success has earned them the honor of Billboard’s Top Seven Breakout Artists SXSW  Summerfest WI,  Emerging Artists US Cellular,  WYCE Listeners’ Choice Album of the Year,  WYCE Listeners’ Choice Best New Band,  Traverse Mag/ Red Hot Best Band,  Top 20 Time Based Entries Art Prize, Huffington Posts Sweet Sixteen Bands of 2016,  Yahoo Music Top Ten Bands To Watch, WYCE Album of the Year, and  WYCE Song of the Year.
