Lock Cities Chorus Sweet Adelines presents Boyfriends, Beach Boys, and Beatles

Boyfriend, Beach Boys and Beatles is a tribute to our favorite songs and groups of the 1960’s. The show was conceived and written by Lock Cities Chorus member Terri Miller. The story line running throughout the “Boyfriend” section is a woman reminiscing about her high school days and that very special First Love. The chorus will also feature diverse popular 1960s hits such as, “One Fine Day,” “Chapel of Love,” “Good Vibrations,” “All My Loving,” “All You Need is Love,” and many more!

Lock Cities performed the show last October at the Bush Plane museum in Sault, Ontario to a very appreciative crowd.

In addition to the chorus singing there will be several quartets performing including Notorious and Straight from the Heart. Notorious consists of four ladies all from Sault, MI – Susan Autore, Pat Deatrick, Sharon Smith and Nancy Kirkpatrick. Notorious can often be heard breaking out into song in local establishments. Straight from the Heart hails from Soo, Ontario.
Lock Cities Chorus was formed in 1986 by Judy Hendrickson. They are a member chorus of Sweet Adelines, International. Linda Sirie, director and the members of the chorus hail from both sides of the St. Marys River. They sing four part a capella barbershop style harmony.
