2026 – Soo Goes To The Opera

The Soo Opera kids are at it again! This time with their very own junior production of CHIP AND HIS DOG! The story about an impoverished shopkeeper (Lila Tuzinowski) and his dog Chip (Ayla Menard) who comes up against a choice to give his dog a better life. Unfortunately this means in the hands of the sassy Princess (Sascha Kuenzer). The Messenger (Dee Compton) and her Page (Skye Downwind) travel to the shop to make the deal! Little do they know, the dog will save the day (With the help of two Courtiers (Sienna Mayer and Leah Love) in a twist that you’ll have to come experience live and in person on Saturday, March 14 at 4pm at SAULT WESLEYAN CHURCH (3556 Seymour Rd. SSM, MI)

In addition to the one act show that runs about 40 minutes, the orchestra will perform a few of your opera favorites at our annual winter offering of SOO GOES TO THE OPERA! Will you go to the opera with us?? 

Family friendly. A fun event for all ages! Admission is by donation and a light reception will follow the performance!
