There’s Always Something For Everyone at STP

Do you remember The Soo without The Soo Theatre Project? For many years, the building was vacant. It was another empty, underutilized space.

Then, about eleven years ago, The Soo Theatre Project came to life! The historic stage was alive once more!

So many families, adults, and children have greatly benefited from the STARS program at STP. And, this benefit is sometimes hard to express because it’s not tallied on a score sheet or immortalized in the form of a trophy or plaque.

No, the benefit of experiencing, practicing, and performing in the arts is expressed in the Soul. Evidence of this is in the form of smiles, improved attitude, happiness, and self-exploration.

Evidence of experiencing, practicing, and performing in the arts is in the opening of life pursuits, new avenues of exploration, and understanding oneself better.

These can lead to improved grades, better concentration, career opportunities, and family harmony. Yes, the family that sings, dances, and performs together, stays together!

The statement, “There’s always something for everyone at The Soo Theatre Project all year long,” is quite true. Just take a look at these events at STP:
