What is a Master Class?

A master class is LIKE a mini concert or recital. Singers perform in front of an audience followed by a working session with the “Master.” A master is a trained professional in the field. The master works with the performers on technique, presentation, interpretation and stage presence. It is a great opportunity to learn from one another by essentially turning a private vocal coaching or Lesson in to a public lesson.

Come to the Soo Theatre on Tuesday, Novemeber 7 at 7 to hear some of our talented young students as they perform for one of our favorite opera singers, Thomas Gunther.

Gunther and Beacom will also be performing in A Rodgers and Hammerstein Tribute at the Cedarville High School on Monday, November 6 at 7pm.

Please join us for these special vocal events in the month of November.
