A night of Swing Dancing will be held on Friday, December 16 at the historic Soo Theatre Project in Sault Ste, Marie from 8-10pm. The Soo Theatre is located at 534 Ashmun Street.
This one night event will be led by Soo Theatre’s newest dance instructor Ashley Burger. Burger recently coached many of the Dancing with the Stars teams for their annual fundraiser for Hospice. Burger is excited to share her love of dance, and particularly swing, with participants of all ages and experience levels.
Come on out to learn the basic steps of swing dance from scratch or to hone your previous skills. In addition to this one night event, Burger will be teaching an 8 week session of swing on Tuesday nights beginning in January and plans to continue into other styles of ballroom dancing.
This drop in event is $10 per person. LSSU students are invited to participate for a special student rate of $5.
